A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

The name doesn't lie. They have some pretty dang yummy burgers. If you haven't already gone here, I would highly suggest doing such

You can't ask for much more from a burger place. Great burgers, fries, and shakes. Just FYI: they serve the kind of burgers you'd find at Five Guys or Cook Out: thin, somewhat crispy exterior. What they do better than those places is that they cook the burger to the perfect temperature and melt the cheese to just the right degree. Highly recommended.
(5)Richard T.
These Burgers are very good beefy 1/3 pound patties, and cooked perfect! They have a burger of the day every day of the week all different and all good. I had the Monday burger, it being monday and it was AWESOME! swiss cheese mushrooms grilled onions and a special mayo, man it was the perfect amount and good. The fries are another good choice for variety, so many options, I tried the old bay cajun fries and a garlic sauce. Very Good I will be back, SOON!
(5)Caleb W.
FANTASTIC! A must eat! -Good service -Great Burgers -Delicious crabby fries -not very quick, but worth the wait (waited 15-25 min.) -Best burger I have ever had. Be sure to get the tasty sauce on the burger. overall: "great"
(5)mary m.
If u love fresh burgers n fries hop on in. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices 1/2 lb cheeseburger was 6.00. Regular fries which we shared 3.00. Food cooked to perfection. I'll be back....
(5)King L.
Imagine a five guys with better tasting meat where you could get the burger medium rare. Heaping amount of fresh fries, soda fountains with coke products and all priced reasonably. Great vibe in an ex gas station and with picnic tables outside you can even take the dog. A must stop in Fernandina Beach.
(5)Stephen W.
Wow!! This place is delicious! Clean & fun environment, burgers & fries were incredible. Fast service too.
(5)Carolyn S.
Highly recommend this burger place. Incredible shakes, fries cooked to perfection, and very good burgers. Will definitely be a repeat customer when I return to Fernandina Beach!
(4)Thomas S.
Great fast food burger joint. Their burgers are delicious and the "Tasty" sauce goes well with the burgers and fries. If you order fries, it may be enough for two or more people!
(4)Ken A.
Very good cheeseburger. I had a double with a root beer float. RB float was average. My wife had a grass fed burger with milk shake. She loved both.
(5)Chrissy F.
This place is amazing. I once pedaled my starving, miserable self on a bike from Fort Clinch all the way to this glistening oasis of burgers. It was worth the trip. To say that I have mind-altering sensual experiences with the food here, is an understatement. The burgers are soooo tasty, they just melt into a magical mouthful of happiness with each bite. The buns are fluffy clouds of joy and the fries smothered in warm melty cheese make me want to climb in the basket and cuddle each and every one. The orange Creamsicle milkshake should be called "Sweet Ambrosia Sent Down From The Gods" I love this place. Seriously. Try it.
(5)Ronnetta W.
tasty's has amazing burgers and fries! love the location and the outdoor seating. great prices, and it's dog friendly. lots of locals frequent this place.
(4)Manchild B.
It's a good thing this place is located in such a small town, it would never survive otherwise. The cooks are unprofessional buffoons. If you're going to have a semi-open kitchen, employ people that can conduct themselves in a way that makes a customer confident he/she is receiving a product prepared with care. Not these morons moaning about not having cigarettes and trying to convince the runner to go buy some, or having their "ass chopped off" for refusing to make an order. The runner also sat down to eat dinner in the dining room, but continued to serve food. Without washing his hands, even one time. The tables were filthy but there were four highschool-age girls behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. The best part of the burger is the Martin's potato roll. The burger itself was overcooked with a lot of texture but no flavor. Fries were standard homemade fries. Overall, pretty poor performance: 1.5 stars.
(2)Rick K.
Delicious burgers and fries! Juicy burgers cooked just right and bun was soft. Fries were good, just a tad bit oily. Waitress was friendly. Will definitely go back.
(4)A F.
The food was good but severely overpriced for what you get! The staff was very nice although the wait was long. I imagine the wait was long because they make it fresh but it was still excessive. Another downside was that the restrooms here have no changing tables so you're out of luck if you have little ones! Overall a fun place but not the best. I still haven't found a burger that's better than Five Guys ;)
(3)Lauren K.
Very yummy! Loved the old bay fries and the shrimp roll! Fresh and clean restaurant! I will be back!
(4)Lucy N.
Best kept secret on the island! Fabulous burger in a wedge served elegantly! Many other items on the menu though. Delicious regular or sweet potato fries. Priced very fairly. Excellent friendly service in a well renovated old gas station. Be sure and tip when you purchase your meal! They deserve it.
(5)Lauren B.
Best Best Burgers! I have not wanted a restaurant burger in years, but the smell of them cooking at this cool little spot made me go in and order a few for my family. We all agreed its the best we have had. So good and the fries are awesome, too. Will definitely be back!
(5)John S.
If you are looking for a great burger this is your place! It goes great with the fresh cut fries or sweet potato fries. Either are great! Even if you have to take a stroll down Centre street to let your food settle while you shop go back for the creamsicle milkshakes. They are amazing. We will definitely be regulars at this burger place.
(5)Cory W.
We all liked the burgers. The fries were pretty good too. I didn't like the catsup (?) And one of our group said the root beer was off. We had the Italian burger and one turkey burger. The Italian was good. Enough sauce for flavor but not enough that the bun got mushy. The turkey was good too. Not too juicy but not dry either. There was more on the menu that if like to try.
(4)Stephen S.
Service was ridiculously slow!!! Food quality good, but value for the quality was insulting. I.e. side of Cole slaw $1.50 for slaw that would fit into a walnut. I had the blackened tuna salad (which is really o.k. tuna on a few lettuce leaves) for $10...if you like tuna, go down the street to Salty Pelican where you get 4 times the amount, of better quality tuna on their nachos for $4 more.
(2)Jim B.
After several hours in the hot sun on a summer day, I dropped by Tastys for a milkshake. I decided to have a meal after walking in- intrigued by the diverse and enticing menu and clean trendy layout of the dining area. Had the daily special milkshake- a wonderful salted caramel concoction. Also very much enjoyed the salad with the veggie burger patty "veggie wedgie" even though it was quite hard for me to eat a salad on a wax paper lined tray. Old bay fries were awesome.
(5)Hillary P.
Reminds me of five guys. Burger patties are thin with a slight crunch. Original Fries are crunchy. Recommended to anyone
(4)Lisa D.
AMAZING burgers and fries. I had the chili-cheese burger and my husband had the number 1... I think it was called a fun-gi burger. My daughter had the kids hotdog. It took awhile for our food to arrive but it was Delicious !!! Really good crunch on the burgers and yummy fresh cut fries.
(4)Stephanie B.
Always fresh, and truly tasty. Love the kid's cheese burger, the sweet potato fries, and the milkshakes. The atmosphere is cool considering it is inside a refurbished gas station. Modern diner feel.
(4)Joey W.
Great burgers !! Cool place build in old gas station. Staff was very pleasant with us first time visitors.
(5)Alanna L.
Stopped in for dinner, the best feasible option in Fernandina beach with kids. I had the Carolina burger, which was good. My dad's burger was burnt, as was my oldest daughters. She wouldn't even touch it. Couldn't say I blame her. The kids did like the fries.
(3)Sean W.
Excellent food and great service the burgers are homemade a fresh. A great place to visit if you are walking in the downtown Fernandina area during the festivals, weekend events or just strolling through the area. I highly recommend this location.
(5)Toni M.
Super great pastrami topped burger with old bay seasoned fries!! Loved it!!
(5)Tony L.
Great atmosphere. Located in an old gas station. Daily specials and great tasting regulars. The turkey burgers were really good having flavor and moist. The regular burgers didn't let down either. Only downside is that seating is limited.
(5)Dane S.
Delicious. We had a regular burger and a Carolina burger. Both were quite tasty; the Carolina burger had a bit too much slaw on it for my tastes, but others may prefer that. The sweet potato fries are amazing: we had spicy ones with chipotle aioli, and "sweet" ones with sugar butter. Both were incredible. The orange creamsicle milkshake is a must-have. Great atmosphere, great location.
(5)Chelsea S.
Simple sweet we will not be returning. 2 cheeseburgers an fries shouldn't take 30 mins. Especially if your a burger joint. They offer a BBQ burger it only had bread tiny slice of bacon and a thin slice of beef (culvers style)... Where's the BBq??? After we asked for BBQ sauce it was simply cold Heinz sauce nothing special. We will say the hand cut fries were good.
(2)JaneAnne F.
Love Tasty's. The French fries are cut fresh and fried to perfection. Yummy with malt vinegar. The burger was delicious too! I had a classic with the works!! I will definitely be back with friends and family.
(5)Upfront B.
new owners? it is amazing - clean organized and great quality food...wow what improvement
(5)Edward J.
Really good time here. The sandwiches are tasty and the the fries are fresh cut. The milkshakes are rich and tasty.
(5)S W.
Went to Tasty's a couple weeks ago and it was really good. Simple food with good service. Love that the burger had a bit of crisp on the edges. Fries were fresh and crispy. One order was definitely enough for two people. Really enjoyed the "tasty sauce" and ranch on the side for dipping! Look forward to going back
(4)Julie B.
Good burgers. Not huge but juicy and tasty. Great atmosphere for an afternoon outside. Good for kids and dogs, also. Watch out for the sweet sauce on the sweet potato fries! Super sweet.
(4)Lydia C.
If you go there specifically for their "vienna" hot dogs then think twice!!! This review is specifically about their "Chicago Dogs" and I give a little background info as to how I know what a real and fake dog is like! My husband and I were raised in Chicago our whole lives. The last two years we were in Las Vegas up until this past August when we moved to Jacksonville. Growing up in Chicago I have found to LOVE Vienna hot dogs!! Of course I will eat other brands but if Vienna is available around us then I will drive to go get it! When we were in Las Vegas we found a great hot dog place that we miss so much and it was owned by Chicagoans! When we moved here I looked on the Vienna website to find out who officially sold Vienna hot dogs and Tasty's was the only one around Jacksonville that did besides us going to Orlando. After a long day at Little Talbot State Park my husband and I drove the extra 20 minutes north to go to Tasty's. I was so excited to finally get Vienna hot dogs considering we haven't had them since July! The place was cute and the prices seemed decent. The Chicago dogs were $3.50 each and that was a good price! My husband ordered the burger of the day which was $10 and it came with a drink and Parmesan and marinara fries. After ordering they told us they would bring our food to us. After waiting about ten minutes our food came out and what a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!! My "Chicago Dog" looked nothing like the real thing! First it wasn't on poppy seed buns. Then they had piled the relish on top that the hot dog was soaked in the juice! The tomatoes were like paper thin and the pickle was like a baby pickle! Also, there was no celery salt!!!!! WHAT?! No celery salt on a Chicago Dog?! But I do have to say I don't like peppers so I never get them. Besides the completely wrong look of them it was nothing like it should have tasted! Everything was just completely wrong about them. I felt bad for my husband because all I could do was complain and tell him how upset I was that we drove all this way and to get let down. If you hear Chicago dog you know what you should expect and it should be universal. Then to order one and it completely lets you down just ruins your night! The other thing you have to be careful of is how they charge you! They charged my husband two extra dollars for his burger and they wouldn't have said anything if we didn't tell them. Along with the hot dogs I ordered the chili dusted cheese fries and those were okay. Would have been great with REAL chili! Don't know why they couldn't put real chili on since they have it for their hot dogs? Then my husband was let down with their burger but their Parmesan marinara fries were pretty tasty! The other thing that bothered us were the kids that were working there that night. There was a younger girl and two boys working and the girl mostly did everything while the boys slacked off. It irritates me how kids don't understand hard work these days! So overall, get their fries. You won't be dissapointed LOL!
(1)Steve W.
If you are looking for a good burger and fries this is it. All the types of fries are great. The kids working there were very polite and the food was very well done. Skip a night of seafood and save some money by eating here.
(5)Andy M.
Loved the milkshake, my burger was so very delicious. Grate place for lunch do not pass it up!
(5)Emily V.
My dad and I had the special of the day which was a burger topped with avocado sauce, jalepenos, gouda, onions, lettuce and mayo. It was very, very good though the best burger in town was still probably at T-Rays. My mom got the chili dusted cheese fries. She would have liked them more if they had had chili on them rather than chili powder. The regular fries were very good; I think they might have been double fried. Overall, I think it was a little pricy but I liked the ambience and the staff was super friendly so I would probably go back. I would have appreciated a bigger menu too, maybe with more sandwich/salad options.
(3)Kent N.
The Tasty quarter pounder is all you need. It reminded me of the burgers my mom made when I was a kid.
(5)Christy K.
Yum, yum, yum!!! Delicious burger and delicious fries. We had a double burger and chili powder dusted fries and split it. More than enough for two and delicious!!
(5)Carolyn J.
I'm from Fort Lauderdale and this was recommended by a friend. It was ah-mazing! First time in the area and loved every moment here in Fernadina Beach. I had the Friday special....,shrimp burger with crabby fries and side of garlic aioli. DELISH! Everything was fresh and truly "tasty!" I thought the shrimp burger would be small, but was a decent size and I was stuffed. My friend had a classic with fries and she also ordered sweet potato fries with a brown sugar sauce and that was also quite delicious. Wish I lived closer than 5 1/2 hours away or I'd be here frequently!
(5)Jean C.
A delicious lunch. The veggie burger was fabulous and the sweet potato fries perfect. Can't wait to go back Friday to try the shrimp burger. This was a real treat. The staff was very friendly.
(4)Gary B.
Burgers are always freshly prepared and delicious. Never had a bad burger and always go for the burger of the day. The turkey burger is really good too, which was surprising. By far the best burger on the island.
(5)Sam F.
This place is incredible. The burgers are so good without being too much or too little. They use quality meat and you can really taste the difference. Same for the fries, clearly not frozen and definitely delicious. Milkshakes are incredibly and this place truly is a do-not-miss when in the Fernandina/Amelia area. Such a cool local joint.
(5)Karin E.
Awesome burger joint. Definitely recommend it and definitely coming back! Great, fast service too!!
(5)Myobu S.
Great cheap, corner place. The hot dogs are super yummy, as are the fries. If you're looking for more local, try T-Ray's down the street.
(4)Lee H.
One of the BEST hamburgers I have EVER had. The fries were ok, but I don't judge them on that. Eat inside if you don't like the sound of traffic and passing cars, but if you are in the area and you like 5 guys....you would really like Tasties! Give it a try!
(5)Benjamin T.
Outstanding! Burgers are very flavorful with crispy edges. Orange cream sickle shake is rich and creamy and the sweet sweet potato fries are off the chain!
(5)L Z.
Had their basic 1/4lb burger with the sweet potato fries with the 'sweet' sauce. Hubby had a signature burger with regular fries. You get a TON of fries and they are really good. Regular burger is smaller but more than enough for me. Signature burger was bigger. Wish we had room for a milkshake... They looked SO good!
(4)Christian P.
Great place for a solid burger experience. Had the burger special...quite flavorful. Slightly overcooked, so next time I will ask for it medium rare, but that is an easy fix. The sweet potato fries are probably a better bet than the regular fries, which were a little soggy. The shakes are amazing! On a hot day, after being on the water (or after playing a round of petanque by the harbor), this place hits the spot.
(4)Stephen A.
Great burgers...love the tasty sauce...fun people watching...highly recommend...don't worry they are open til 8 on Sunday...not 2 like yelp states.
(5)Daniel A.
Pretty great little place. The burgers were "tasty" and my kids loved the grilled cheese. The sweet potato fries hit the spot. My only regret is not having room for a shake. Fun little place that I would visit again.
(4)Meghan M.
I stopped here for lunch and ate at one of the many tables outside. I ordered the cheeseburger and the spicy sweet potato fries. Both were delicious. The fries come with a dipping sauce and are big enough to share between 3 or 4 people. The Tasty's sauce on the burger was just that, very tasty. I just wish if saved enough room for one if their milkshakes.
(5)Hayley B.
Better than Five Guys! and I love their burgers! My picky daughter even ate every last bite of hers. I'd stay away from the sweet pot fries in the butter mix, though.
(5)Sydney B.
I have an allergy to nightshades so finding a delicious veggie burger that has no peppers in it is hard. Tasty's veggie burger with beets is AMAZING! Also, they have sweet potato fries that are delicious. Honestly my favorite veggie burger since I've developed allergies. Only suggestion is for a better drink selection, and to not use Styrofoam cups. Also, the cup for the sweet potato fries was only filled about 60%...could probably stand to fill it up a little further.
(4)Gary B.
Nice cozy little corner burger joint. Parking in their lot can be a challenge. Pick street parking if you can get it. Very busy at lunch hour. The burgers are good but if you order a regular burger you might find it on the small side. Fresh cut fries are good. Service is good. A bit expensive though for what you get.
(3)Kim M.
Delicious place to grab a quick bite- the family all had burgers and the hubs said it was one of the best he's had. Kids raved too. Daughter got the Parmesan fries and I had the old bay fries- wish I got another order to go. The shrimp roll was delicious. Cool atmosphere too, with it being an old gas station converted into a restaurant.
(5)Adam L.
Fantastic burger with some of the best fries I've ever had. Kids really liked the hot dogs. Very friendly service.
(5)Daniel M.
Great food! Clean restaurant. Casual like a burger joint should be. I had the daily special, the Big Kahuna burger with old bay fries & my wife had the basic "tasty burger" "all the way" with chilli cheese fries. I wouldn't call this place "cheap." Prices are reasonable or maybe a bit on the pricey side for a good burger & fries. The single 4oz burger patties are also a bit small, but they do sell double burgers (two of the same patties) for a nominal price increase. I'd recommend the double. Some key things they have on the menu that you don't find at most good burger joints is bottled beer, wine, sweet potato fries, and some very good looking shakes. I will certainly be going back to sample the many "Tasty" items on the menu. Better quality than five guys (amazingly) and they put more care, personality, and class into the food & the menu with more variety than 5G. Looking forward to trying both varieties of sweet potato fries.
(4)John S.
Amazing burgers and fries. Head cook is really a gourmet chef and it shows. Very inexpensive and the perfect destination place for a weekend road trip. Have some good food and then shop the quaint historic district.
(5)Thomas M.
We are locals and ate here for the first time today. Came looking for a good burger. What I found was a bit disappointing. Their selection is very low. They have a better selection of toppings for their hot dogs that their burgers. If your looking for more that lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles then don't come here. I was expecting a wide variety of burgers. What i got was their daily special. Dont know what was so special about an over cooked dried out piece of meat covered with guacamole, lettuce and tomato, except the $8.50 price tag. Should have gone to chilis. My wife had the chili dog special, big mistake. Chili was bland with little to no flavor. The hot dogs looked as though they were grilled, stored overnight, then deep fried. It looked and tasted like a slim Jim on a bun. The fries were half good, half burnt to the point where they weren't eatable. All and all, we won't return. Not anytime soon.
(2)Eric K.
Wow, this place is REALLY good! Stumbled upon it while vacationing at the beach and ended up going back for a second visit the next day. Casual laid back atmosphere in a renovated gas station setting (love the retro logo!) serving up great food, generous portions, and really reasonable prices - this a big time recommendation. Definitely go for one of their burgers. I had the shrimp roll on my 2nd visit, and while it was good I couldn't help thinking that burgers are their bread 'n butter. Had the chili burger the first time in and it was outstanding. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Had a bite of my wife's bacon cheddar burger and it was also perfect. We had a party of 9 and ordered about 6 different kinds of burgers amongst our group, and every single person raved. The fries are just as good as the burgers and deserve some attention on their own. I had the crabby fries with old bay seasonings and they rocked. Hand cut and cooked just right. The parmesan fries were also delicious. My wife's sweet potato fries with brown sugar butter were other-worldly good - do not get them if you have high blood sugar or are prone to addictive behavior! To top it all off, the fries are served in massive quantities - so much so that I couldn't finish my burger and fries, and I almost never leave anything on my plate. Everything is priced very reasonably. A menu burger with a mound of fries will run $8 or so, while a daily special burger (bison burger the day we first stopped in) with fries and a drink may run more like $11 or $12. Regardless, you are getting a great deal on an uncommonly good burger & fries with flair. Highly recommended.
(5)Patti M.
Looking for fast very fresh burgers. Oh, yeah this is your place! So many great choices on burgers and fries too. My fav is the souther fries. Don't judge me but I always get the largest sized fries!!!! Here's a good tip: be careful it's super hot so try to control yourself
(4)Benjamin C.
I enjoyed a very moist, succulent burger with fresh condiments, and the home fries were fresh and flavorful. The price for two servings and four beers came out to be a bit pricey, but the food was filling and our portions were just large enough, but without feeling bloated afterwards. The service was efficient and courteous, and the facilities were clean and indoor/outdoor accessible. I'll definitely be returning here!
(4)Shannon D.
This is my second time coming here. The first time was fabulous, this time I would say " I would have got a better burger at McDonald's!!" I ordered a single bacon cheeseburger. When it came it was really greasy even without the bacon. Then when I got my bacon it was dripping with grease. (It took 3 handfuls of paper towels) to even start to collect the grease. Also I ordered the $3.00 fries which is the larger side of fries. They bring out the fries with one of the other burgers and it looks like a small order of fries. At this point I have to buy another order of fries $2.00 small side and the amount is the exact size as what is on the plate of the other burger. I paid $40.19 for 4 burgers and two fries. I think management has slipped and is letting this place slip too. I don't want to write this place off but when you have a manager arguing with you and telling you that you are wrong, you just have to wonder should you care if they don't.
(1)Kim S.
We took a day trip to Fernandina and chose Tasty's Amelia for lunch. SO glad we did! For the price of my family's meals at Firehouse, we had a wonderful lunch at Tasty's! I had the Tasty burger, which was lick your fingers yummy. Though it is a smaller patty than I expected, it was perfect. My husband had the bacon cheddar ranch and he enjoyed it too. But the fries....oh my the fires!! He had the Parmesan herb and they were the perfect balance of a salty fry with the flavor of herbs. I had the divine, but soooo rich sweet potato fries with brown sugar butter. I could not stop eating them. (I should be in a sugar coma, but seriously, it would be worth it.) not much seating inside, but lots of tables outside in this renovated gas station. Cool place and we will be back!
(5)Alex C.
I eat at a lot of burger places back home in Miami but this place could easily put almost any burger spot down in Miami to shame. The food was cooked fast and piping hot. Super juicy burger and the garlic cheese fries are awesome. They have a good selection of beers on hand and the environment is super clean. The wife got a kick out of the location because it's a retired gas station. I highly recommend this burger joint.
(5)Nella R.
Awesome sweet potato fries with brown sugar dipping sauce, yummy!! This quaint lil burger joint is located in an old corner gas station - no worries!! It's been fully remodeled from many years ago into a fabulous hot spot for Islanders and visitors alike to enjoy. Limited seating inside and picnic tables around the outside with small tables for two lining the exterior walls. The Burgers are super amazing, from traditional to grass feed beef. You won't find your typical beers though, only smaller speciality brews. It's a great place to spend the afternoon w family and friends watching the town go by smack dab in the middle of the island. Go left to downtown marina or right takes you right on to main beach.
(4)Tip R.
Great Burgers & fries. I got a double with cheese & extra sour dill pickles. We love their chocolate milk shakes. Parking is limited & sometimes there is a line but the food is ready quickly. It looks like they employ a lot of college kids and they are helpful & friendly. If you have a craving for a burger, fries & shake, give them a try.
(4)Amanda W.
Great bang for your buck! The 'sweet' sweet potato fries I'm pretty sure have crack on them - they are DELICIOUS!!!! They are tossed with this 'suga butta' that is just perfection. The hamburger is real meat (yay) and juicy and yummy! The whipped cream on the milkshake is phenomenal! They said it's a generic brand, but it tastes authentic. The oreo milkshake was rich and creamy with soft oreo pieces throughout. Great atmosphere, very casual, perfect after a day at the beach.
(5)John G.
Grass fed burger excellent even if a little more pricey. Teriyaki turkey burger also deemed to be the best turkey burger my wife has ever had. Southern style fries also excellent. Shake was just ok. Seemed very creamy/fatty but flavoring lacking, at least for strawberry. Overall great experience!
(5)Dad C.
Good burgers no pretense....very tasty...they even have Sirachi...you have to order it "All the way"...yo get full experience.
(5)Jason L.
Good prices and even better food. Food was great all around for burgers and dogs. My wife had the target burger wedge and surprisingly loved it (usually burger joints don't do good on the healthy options). Great family spot for guilty eating!!
(5)Riley S.
Classic american burgers and fries with a modern twist! Great taste and casual, family atmosphere. Fast service. I had the bees knees burger- it was delicious!
(5)John C.
A big fat juicy greasy (but not overly so) burger and a huge portion of great fries. Nothing fancy here, but its good honest food and while its not fine dining it certainly has its place among the best places to eat in the area. The locals eat here and rightly so. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger and the parmesan fries. They take fries to another level, with some crazy good choices - sweet potato fries with maple syrup - amazingly good but such a huge portion would be too rich and sweet for me.
(4)Rebecca O.
The burgers are pretty good here! They crisp them a little bit and cook them to medium, so you get a well caramelized and tasty burger. They have plenty of toppings to choose from, so you can customize to however you like. We also got the parmesan fries. The fries themselves were good, but the seasoning was like the stuff you'd buy pre-mixed at the grocery store. Overall, if you're looking for a burger in the area, this is a good place to go. Skip the seasoned fries and go for just the regular or sweet potato ones.

Good burger joint. Nice to sit outside at dinner and hear the cicadas. The burger I ordered was great. So was my daughter's but she didn't like the soggy sweet potato fries so they were kind enough to give her regular sweet potato fries. I ordered the shrimp and corn chowder soup that was suppose to come out before the burgers but they forgot to bring it out before the burgers. They did apologize when I went in to ask about it. The soup was delicious and fresh and not too salty. Great Labor Day dinner for families.

LOVE TASTY'S!!! Amazing burgers, fries and shakes...one of the very best I have ever had. Great meat grilled just right on a fresh soft bun. Get it all the way with cheese and special sauce. Fries are like my mother use to make. We went every day we were in town and could not get enough.

Surprisingly good grass-fed burger. Delicious fries. Unique seating arrangement outside in restored building. Nice staff. Slight smell of a dumpster outside.

Great burgers! Delicious sweet potato fries! Good service! Perfect place to eat a filling meal that's not overpriced after a day on the water!

Original Tasty burger was super delicious but I will get a double from now on because they're a tad on the small size. The sweet potato fries we everyone's choice over the regular fries, even by my 4 year old who ate most of mine and hardly touched his regular fries! It was nice sitting outside in the cooler evening. We had a nice time

Fresh ingredients, great service and tasty burgers. Fungi burger and parmesan fries were delicious. Suga fries and cupcake milkshake were a little too sweet for my liking. Burgers are all fresh, hand formed patties, never frozen. You can taste the fresh, quality meat. Fries are also not frozen, fresh cut daily. Daily special burgers will keep you coming back to try the specials. Bison burgers on Wednesday is my next one.

Super yummy orange creamsicle REAL milkshake and selfish teriyaki style turkey burger. Fresh and from scratch goodness!!!

Good burgers, fast service, and friendly staff. I had the classic tasty burger with sweet potato fries with chipotle aoli. The burger came with tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and tasty sauce on it. It was really good, even though I have no idea what's in the sauce. The fries were just a bit spicy and delicious!!!

The food and atmosphere are always pretty darn good but this time...not so much. My wife's burger looked great and she concurred. On the other hand my supposedly blacked tuna was terrible. I've had a lot of blacked tuna and this was just bad! The other bothersome thing was the amount of flies. They were flying around our food. We were sitting inside to boot. Outside I watched in horror as the flies were climbing down the ketchup squirt bottle holes and getting a free meal. Please do something to get rid of the flies and if you go to a burger joint...don't order fish!

The veggie burger was great and the oreo shake was also very good. The staff is friendly and the location was near the harbor but still easy to find parking. The one reason I would not rate it 5 stars was the price. For a veggie burger, fries, and a shake, it cost nearly $18. The food was pretty good, but not that good.

We ordered 4 different burgers and two different styles of fries. Everything tastes great!

Kept it old school today. Just a regular cheeseburger with Tasty sauce. The burgers are always good and the French fries are natural cut. The fries were just amending about 30 seconds more for perfection. Outdoor and indoor seating with fast friendly service. Now they just need a bigger parking lot to hold all the customers

Great hamburger/hot dog place. Stop in, you wont regret it. Awesome, friendly, and fast service. Tasty food. Yummy sweet potato fries also.

One of the best parts of the Amelia Island dining experience is that seafood is not the ONLY type of food that they have that is food. Stop by Tasty ' s for a very good burger. I suggest that you just get their special burger of the day. The shakes look great, but left that for another day.

I had the crown burger with pastrami, my son had the terriaki burger, my mother had the Monday special and all were very good. I had the Parmesan (if I spelled it correctly) fries. Tasted very plain. But I still think this place is a must try.

Oh my goodness! This place was wonderful! The burgers were perfect, buns were fresh, regular fries were really good and the Sweet Potato fries with sugar on them were like dessert. Oh the yumminess. Plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor. Nice corner location. (I want to go back)

Probably the best burgers you'll get in the area. Skip the flavored fries, as the seasonings are lacking inspiration. But the burger patties are well caramelized, and salty enough to make for a good burger. Ask for extra tasty sauce and grilled onions and you have a pretty good burger.

Every option is great. My son had the Chili Chedda Burger. My wife had the veggie. Mom had the Reuben dog. Even the fries have options: regular or sweet potato. Spicy, crabby, sweet or salty!

Huge fan. Bring your friends and family, esp. tourists. Great burgers, fries and shakes. Beach burger is low carb. Yummy. Turkey burger is nice and moist. Kids love it. Very kid friendly. Eat there weekly. Love it.

Great burger. A huge pile of sweet potato fries with various seasoning, shakes that looked fantastic and fast service. Picnic tables outside.

Excellent burgers and chili cheese fries. My wife had a milkshake also very good. Food came out nice and hot. Restored my faith in Amelia Island dining after not getting good service at Leddy's Porch up the road previously. Go check this place out

I had not had a hamburger in several months. Breaking the streak was only acceptable for the right restaurant. We found it and the streak ended on a happy note. Tasty burger, fantastic fries, good service all in a renovated service station. Positive experience from all aspects!

Absolutely amazing burgers and fries in this old gas station. My husband and I weren't quite convinced that we should try it out, the sceptics and vegetarians that we are. Vegetarians usually get a big disappointment at your average burger place--especially with only one veggie option on the menu. We remain corrected. We ordered their veggie burger with a side of sweet potato fries, and we absolutely loved every single bite. The burgers were deliciously moist and had lots of salad and a delicious tzatziki dressing. Yum! The fries came with their chilli aglioli that was to die for. An amazing experience all around and highly recommended--even for sceptic vegetarians! ;-)
